Build a procurable, verifiable PET specification for produce and prepared-food programs—not just a resin label on an RFQ.

An enterprise program should not begin with the single question “PET or RPET?” Start by defining the job: food type, filling and storage temperatures, target shelf life, merchandising needs, stacking pattern, distribution distance and destination market. A material route only becomes meaningful in that context.

A practical sequence is dimensional and closure review, stacking and case-pack tests, cold-chain or storage trials, distribution simulation and merchandising assessment, each with recorded acceptance criteria.
